As the visitor enters through the grand front gates, and then approaches along the mile or so of formal drive, he knows that he is in for something special. Set upon a knoll the spectacular house emerges arrestingly through the trees. With its broad Italianate garden terraces overlooking rolling parkland which sweeps down to the Lake, Sennowe Park offers the perfect romantic venue. It combines the formality of a stately home with the friendly intimacy of a family country house.

The terraces offer picturesque locations for a marquee, with the house as a dramatic backdrop, as does the Park sweeping down to the banks of the Lake with views of the Boathouse. Smaller weddings can be held in the house. The panelled Long Room and 70ft flower-filled Winter Garden are both licensed for Civil Ceremonies. With over 20 years' experience in wedding planning our team of event management experts will provide an outstanding service in organising and hosting your day. Our caterers are well known for taking their award-winning and imaginative cuisine to stylish weddings and society events throughout East Anglia and, working with you, they will create a perfect menu for your special day.

The opportunities for entertaining in the main house are also numerous, from private dinner parties in one of the two dining rooms, a drinks reception in the Long Room or drinks or garden parties in the 70ft Winter Garden. It is possible to stay in the house in conjunction with an event. Sennowe Park is a truly unique and elaborate venue, one which is warm and welcoming and yet formal if needed.

Wedding Parties

We can have the bride and groom to stay, together with their close relations. We offer our seven luxurious double or twin bedrooms for this purpose all with their own bathroom or shower room. Sennowe is a private house and so all arrangements are bespoke; dinner can be laid on in the house the night before the wedding for friends and family staying, or perhaps lunch in the Winter Garden the day after the wedding.
